TMJ Awareness Month

There are a couple of holidays this month - TMJ Awareness. We want to tell you a little bit more about both so you can know what you need to be doing to make sure your mouth is in good shape.

The temporomandibular joint works as a hinge between your jaw and the rest of your skull. Unfortunately, disorders can lead to pain in your jaw joint and surrounding muscles. If you have felt any pain in your jaw, have difficulty chewing, or even locking of the joint, let us know as it could be a TMJ disorder!

Our office can help be the ones to diagnose what could be going on if you feel you might have a TMJ disorder or something else seems off.
